How to Enable Facebook Passkey – Login Without Password (Fingerprint & Face ID)

Monabber Jaman Adib

Did you know? Facebook has now introduced the Passkey system for logging in! This feature was actually launched earlier, but many users still don’t know about it. Some of you may already be familiar, but for those who aren’t—this guide is for you. 🚀

🔑 What is a Passkey?

In simple words, a Passkey allows you to log into your Facebook account without entering a password.

  • On the device where you set it up, you can log in directly using your Fingerprint or Face Lock.
  • If you want to log in from another device, you can use a Security Key or connect via Bluetooth from your trusted device.

Sounds cool, right? Let’s see how to set it up.

⚙️ How to Set Up Passkey on Facebook

  1. Open Facebook and log into the account where you want to enable Passkey.
  2. Go to the Menu.
  3. Tap on Settings.
  4. Next, go to Password and Security.
  5. You’ll now see a new option called Passkey (this wasn’t there before!). Tap on it.
  6. Select Create Passkey.
  7. Choose your Google account (Gmail) that’s connected to your device.
Important: Use your personal Gmail, because the login popup will only appear if that Gmail is signed in on your device.
  8. Tap Continue and set it up using your Fingerprint or Phone Lock.

✅ Done! Your Passkey is now set up successfully.

🔓 Logging in with Passkey

Next time you go to the Facebook login page, you’ll see a popup prompt instead of typing a password. Just confirm with your Fingerprint or Lock and you’ll be logged in instantly.

🎉 Final Words

With this new Passkey system, Facebook login becomes faster, safer, and more convenient—no more struggling to remember complex passwords.

👉 Go ahead, set it up today and experience password-free login on Facebook!
